Situated in the centre of Muravera, a small town considered to be the capital of the Sarrabus region. Every year in the grounds of the tower, a re-enactment takes place of the capture of Saracens by the local population. This is just one of many folklore events that take place in the area, from Easter to October. The most important of these is the Sagra degli Agrumi (Festival of Citrus Fruits) which officially opens the tourist season.
